Impregnated core bits

In most geological formations, impregnated diamond core bits are more economical to use than surface set core bits as they provide additional benefits: 1) Greater resistance to wear in most formations, particularly in fissured and fractured formations. 2) Less sensitive to abuse, rough handling and improper use.

A complete range of high tech and high quality impregnated core bits such as NQ, S75, T2 76, NTW are all available.

Surface set core bits

Surface set diamond core bit is primarily recommended for use in drilling relatively soft, abrasive, unconsolidated formations that are not effectively drilled by impregnated diamond core bit. It is also recommended for use in drilling harder formations where the available rotation speed and weight on bit are insufficient to use impregnated diamond core bit due to drilling equipment limitations.

Our surface set core bits have proven to have a high penetration rate, long service life, and best adaptability to changing formations.

Reaming shells

Reaming shells are placed behind the drill bit on the core barrel to maintain the correct hole diameter and stabilize the core barrel.

Reaming shells are available for all types of core barrels and drill bits.

Casing shoes

The casing shoe is threaded to the end of the casing string for penetration through overburden. It assists in seating the drill casing into the bedrock, providing a tight seal for the drilling fluids to return to the surface. It is also used to ream the casing downward when advancing a casing string in an existing hole with the rod string still in place.

We can offer a comprehensive range of diamond casing shoes for standard drilling or positioning casing tubes into drill holes.

Rod shoes

Rod shoes are available only in an impregnated design.

Non-coring bits

We can offer a range of non-coring bits for situations where coring is not possible or not desired.  These products are designed to minimize the inherent problems of cutting the full face of a borehole, and are available in both surface set and polycrystalline forms.
